Recitals and Master Classes
Mark
has presented numerous recitals and master classes, often combining these
two formats into a lecture recital. He has presented in a wide variety
of venues: from small and large public school settings to the most sophisticated
music conservatories. Mark has played much of the standard and contemporary
repertoire in recital, including a number of his own transcriptions and
works composed specifically for him. In addition, he has done sabbatical
research and performance in the areas of Cornet and Natural Trumpet literature.
Dr. Ponzo presents one Master Class each week at Northern Illinois University
(referred to as Trumpet Solo Class). You can view sample Master Classes
